Delete your data

How to delete

• In the app: Settings › Privacy › Delete account. You can download your data first.
• Can't sign in? Email support@thepostmanual.com from the email on your account, or write from your registered mobile number, with the subject "Delete my data".
• To remove only our access to Instagram or Facebook: disconnect it in Channels, or remove "The Post Manual" in your Facebook or Instagram settings under "Apps and websites".
• To remove only our access to YouTube: choose Disconnect on YouTube in Channels (we tell Google to forget our login straight away), or remove "The Post Manual" at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Videos already on your channel stay there; delete them in YouTube Studio.

What gets deleted

• Your account, brands, posts, pictures, team invitations and platform logins: deleted 7 days after you ask (sign in before then to cancel), always within 30 days.
• A workspace you share with others, where someone else is also an owner, stays for its team; only you leave it. If you are its only owner, hand it over first (Settings › Team).
• Security records are kept for 1 year and invoices as tax law requires (about 6 years), then deleted.
• Posts already published on Instagram or other platforms stay there; delete them on that platform.
• If you remove The Post Manual in your Facebook or Instagram settings and ask for your data to be deleted, we delete your Instagram data (login, profile, results and comments) at once. You get a confirmation code; this page shows its status.
• Your YouTube login is revoked at Google when you disconnect YouTube or your account is deleted; the channel name, id and the numbers of the Shorts we posted are deleted with the account.
